  14. Picture was rendered with Cinema-XL V5.25 on DEC Alpha 533MHz with 256 MB RAM.

  16. A little scene I put together as a cover for my third scenery Jaz-Disk. (Propably my last :-(( )
  17. I first thought about animating this little scene, but after the use of the Bird of Prey-mesh wich consists
  18. of nearly 2000 separate objects, my Alpha needed 38 minutes just to initialize the scene. Rendertime would
  19. be no problem, but allocating memory in tiny amounts would take a normal anim with 250 frames forever.

  21. Perhaps with the new Alpha processors (8 times faster with only 450 MHz :o))))) ).
